Hajj Experience - Contents
Hajj is fifth pillar of Islam. Alhamdullilah I had the opportunity to perform Hajj with my wife in year 2015/1436. The main reason to write this blog is to share my experience with my brothers and sisters who are planning to endeavor on this journey of a life time.
When I was searching for do’s and don’ts of Hajj, I came across many books and online articles. Most of the books published are mostly limited to legalities of actions and take much of the material from older books with limited insight to what we experience on ground. Same is the case with most of the online articles, where people share their experience or Hajj diaries. My intention is to write a complete story of Hajj with latest information and tips/tricks that can help people to avoid hustle and make up their minds for what is going to happen on their journey.
I am neither a professional writer nor an Aalim. This blog is just to
give you an insight to what one experiences during Hajj journey from my
perspective. The information is in general applicable to all pilgrims,
however, application related information is relevant for Hajis from
Pakistan, particularly the ones going on Government scheme.
If there is something wrong with information or any update is available, feel free to send me a message.

Hajj is definitely seen as the acknowledgement and profession of faith in one God and MUhammed (SAW) as the final Prophet. Many people believe that the performance of Hajj is related to the actions of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) when in fact, it has much more relevance to the life of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), commonly known as Abraham to Abrahamic religions.
ReplyDeleteAs per the Islamic tradition, the Kaaba which is situated in Makkah is considered a sacred place where angels would worship God much before man could come into existence. It has been told that the Arch Angel Gabriel helped Ibrahim(AS) construct the Kaaba. It stands as a symbol of faith in the worship of Allah.
